Nancy considers the architecture, natural light, materials and palette of the room. She also considers the atmosphere you would like to create. At the same time, each painting retains the spontaneity, movement and layered character of her work.

With a professional background in advertising agencies and design firms, Nancy brings years of experience in visualizing ideas and brainstorming with clients. She also understands how to carry a creative project from concept through completion—professionally and on time.

Nancy creates large-scale paintings, diptychs, triptychs and coordinated works for homes in Todos Santos, Los Cabos and throughout Baja California Sur, as well as for collectors beyond Mexico.

A commission is not about reproducing an existing painting. Instead, it is an opportunity to create something new that responds to your surroundings while retaining the distinctive character of Nancy’s work.

Some collectors arrive with a very clear idea. Others simply know the size of the wall and which paintings in Nancy’s collection they are drawn to. Either is a wonderful place to begin.

Finding the Right Scale

Not sure what size painting your space needs? You don’t need to have everything figured out before getting in touch.

Photographs and a few measurements are often enough to begin. From there, Nancy can help determine proportions, placement and scale. She can also offer guidance when bringing several paintings together within a room or gallery wall.

For larger spaces, Nancy can create a commissioned painting as a diptych or triptych. This allows the artwork to extend across a wall while maintaining movement and balance.

The Commission Process

We begin with photographs of your space and approximate measurements. Then we talk about the colors, feeling and artwork you are naturally drawn to.

Once we establish the direction and size, a 50% deposit confirms your commission. Nancy then shares images at two key stages. This gives you a glimpse into the process while leaving room for the painting to evolve naturally.

Nancy typically completes commissioned paintings within approximately 6–8 weeks.
